Meet the latest Bluefairy in the fold. Her name is Ivy Sandoval. She's a Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Robin girl, with normal skin because I obviously ordered too early. But on the plus side, I only had to wait two and a half weeks for her, as opposed to almost 3 months!

I tried some other eyes in her, but settled on these urethane turquoise ones. They're Enchanted Doll Milky #24. I had originally bought them for another doll, but they didn't suit him. They look great on her, though! This wig is Leeke's limited Real Champagne.

Modeling Leeke Pale Turquoise.

And here she is with Tristan, my Robin boy that I got last year. I did try to use his eyes for her (a girl named Ivy should have green eyes!) but they look better on him.

No idea what default look she'll end up with. The Real Champagne wig looks stunning on her, but I only have the one and I'm not sure how often Leeke recycles their limited colors. I know they do sometimes, but not sure if Real Champagne was popular enough to warrant a return engagement. I'll just have to keep an eye out for it.

I wanted to take more pictures, but we have some storms coming in and I lost the light.

Are the resin colors actually slightly different or is it wigs/face-up/eye color/lighting? I'm curious because I know BF does change its normal skin from time to time and Ivy looks slightly paler and pinker.

No, he doesn't look like he yellowed at all, it looks more like natural resin differences. I've ordered a few times from BF in the last few years and for me the color differential wasn't so different and I was willing to swap bodies/heads because I couldn't really detect a difference but back in 05 or 06 I felt like BF has some pretty ride variations. There was were the truly pinky peach dolls and the less peachy dolls and you could not swap between them. It's actually yellowed to a nicer color IMHO. I was just surprised because when I have taken pictures of my boys together, most of my recent orders all look about the same color and was wondering if BF was changing its formulations again.

Ivy is super pretty and I do like the color of both Ivy and Tristan I just hadn't realized the resin was varying again.
