[identity profile] reynardine.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] the_sorrows
I've been terrible about updating, due to IRL distractions, but for the next month, I'm going to try to make a post a day in this blog. (After that, a bit of a break as my parents will be visiting.)

I realized I haven't introduced all my dolls yet, so that's what I will be doing in the next few posts. First up, Rosemary Winterbourne. She's a Bluefairy Tiny Fairy White Winter Rachel. She arrived back in February (ordered in late December).

This is her full default set, before I switched out her eyes and hair. What really amuses me is that every other Rachel I've seen out on the web so far has been switched to blonde!

The color of the wig is nice but the style is awful! Really hard to manage. It's a new style, but Bluefairy actually sent me another one with my basic Louis doll, so I have two of them. :-P However, with work, it does okay.

This is the outfit beneath the coat.

She's actually much prettier than the company pics.

Interesting thing about her sculpt is that the head is removable without completely restringing the doll, rather like the Kid Delfs. This is extremely convenient. Not sure if they'll start doing that retroactively with their other molds, or just going forward.

I'm still working on her character. I had imagined one thing, but she ended up being so much cuter and perkier than the company pics that I'm having to change things.
